Twelve Days of Rook- Drabble 8

Castle had often wondered about Earth. Her Father insisted she put such thoughts out of her head and keep them on Revonnah.

But her Mother said that a young girl should inspire for more then what her Father deemed right for her. A fact which silenced her Father who was once a lower region dweller and her Mother was a Upper Cliffer. Allowing Castle to explore possibilities.

Eventually, she approached some Plumber Agents and inquired into signing up for the Plumbers.

It had been rough, not only was there Tests and exams, but her Father had voiced his displeasure.

But, when she became a fully deputized Plumber Agent, he and her entire family had attended the graduation ceremony. The kiss to the forehead and the whisper of "Be safe." Told her that Rook Da accepted her Dream.

Thou she never expected her Dream to include a Young Earth boy.

Ben 10 was a well known heroic figure, even on the distant planet of Ravonnah. And she had read the full chapter and a half on him.

But MEETING him and conversing with him, well, that had been a entirely different matter.

He was the wielder of the Omnitrix, Shape-shifting device that allowed others to turn into different alien species. And a bit of a perplexing figure.

Insisting she call him, "Ben-Babe." Didn't do stuff by the book and seemed to actually enjoy breaking the rules!!

But as she spent time with him, she saw he may not follow the Plumbers Code. But he did care about others well being. And did get the job done.

Being used to a strict father and the rigid Plumber Code. Ben Ten was a....shock of cold water.

And she might admit he was....attractive.

His hair was a messy brown, a round shaped face with furless skin that was common among humans. He had a lanky, but strong figure, with long legs. Clad in a black shirt with green stripes, brown pants and his ever present Omnitrix on his left wrist.

But his most OUTSTANDING feature was...his Eyes.

He was a handsome, young man.....but his eyes seemed to grab her. So expressive, so bright like stars. So, Green!

That was the striking part, she KNEW of the color Green, they had Grass on Ravonnah.

But NEVER had she ever seen a Green like Ben's eyes. Or Green eyes.

Castle had to admit, she found Ben, frustrating, unpredictable, confusing, crude and at times A Glory Hound.

But....she would also have to admit. To developing a bit of fondness for him....Rook Da would just Love that.
